172 New COVID-19 Cases Registered in Armenia; 171 Recoveries Reported

As of September 12, 11:00 AM, a total of 45,675 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 41,605 have recovered, while 911 patients have died. Currently, 2,878 patients are receiving treatment for the coronavirus.

In total, 234,631 tests have been conducted. Yesterday, 3,372 tests were performed, resulting in the confirmation of 172 new cases of COVID-19. We have also recorded 171 recoveries.

Regarding the fatalities, the patients were men aged 61 and 55 who had underlying chronic conditions. On the previous day, there was one registered death involving a patient confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus, although the death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases is 281.
