Romanos Petrosyan and Hrazdan Medical Center Director Conflict Unresolved
According to Hraparak, the director of the Hrazdan Medical Center, Armen Hakhverdyan, has not reported to work since June 26. His deputy is currently taking over his responsibilities. Sources indicate that the reason for this absence is a conflict with the former governor of Kotayk, Romanos Petrosyan.
Petrosyan had appointed Hakhverdyan to his position; however, their relationship has since soured, leading the former governor to send the director on leave with the expectation that he would not return. Reports suggest that Petrosyan stated, 'I brought you here, and I can also remove you,' echoing sentiments reminiscent of Taras Bulba's betrayal of his son, with the phrase, 'I gave you life, and I can take it away.'
The Hrazdan hospital confirmed that the director has not been attending work for two months. However, attempts to reach any responsible officials for an explanation were met with silence as the phone line was disconnected.
