Georg Petrosyan May Disrespect His Work, But He Should Not Disparage Others' Profession as Undignified, Makunts
Head of the ‘My Step’ faction in the National Assembly, Lilit Makunts, stated on her Facebook page:
“The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) is offended by the reminder of their failed attempt to launch a massive rally in 2015. When a political force finds itself on the front lines of political struggle without its own agenda, the likelihood of being betrayed at some point is high, leaving it isolated and destined to fail. This is what happened in 2015. History has the potential to repeat itself. This is not about personal matters, but about a very basic and axiomatic political truth. If they wish to hold rallies, let them do so, even every day.
Despite not making any personal insults during my interview, my colleague from BHK, Iveta Tonoyan, has requested to refrain from personal attacks. If it is so disreputable to be associated with certain forces, then this fact should give BHK even more cause for reflection. One more thing: if I’m not mistaken, both I and BHK MP Georg Petrosyan are lecturers. He may choose to disrespect his own work, which is his right, but he should not attempt to conflate the names of teachers and lecturers with a disreputable mission.”
