Are Purchases Made Without a Competition from the Company Owned by the Prime Minister's Family? The Prime Minister's Spokesperson Does Not Comment
Recently, Alternativ.am reported that state agencies are making purchases without a tender from a company owned by the Prime Minister's family. Documents have surfaced, proving that the newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" is benefiting from state sponsorship. The media outlet, commercially known as "Dareskizb" LLC (managed by Manavazyan), has repeatedly won contracts from various state agencies, which are carried out through single-person purchasing at prices significantly higher than their market value.
Auroranews contacted the Prime Minister's spokesperson, Mane Gevorgyan, for clarifications. "I do not comment on the news," Gevorgyan said. When the media outlet presented the documents supporting the news, the Prime Minister's spokesperson noted, "They should go to the police if they have documents."
