‘Zhamanak’. The Power Struggle Between Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan

‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: “Following Serzh Sargsyan's press conference, Robert Kocharyan's interview with Russian ‘RBC’ television took place. The impression is that a remote competition for leadership is ongoing between them. Sargsyan, in his press conference, tried to convince that Armenia had achieved victory in the April 2016 war, whereas Kocharyan essentially accused Sargsyan of being unable to transfer power to a predictable figure in 2018, while he himself had handed over power to Sargsyan in 2008.”
