Ministry of Health Spent Approximately $23.5 Million in Fight Against COVID-19

The Ministry of Health of Armenia has provided information regarding actual expenditures made from March 2020 to September 1 in the context of measures for the prevention, control, and treatment of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). The list exclusively includes expenses incurred by the Ministry of Health, as other departments have also made expenditures.
Due to the ongoing nature of expenses related to the pandemic, this information will be updated periodically, according to the Ministry of Health.
- 1. Maintenance costs of reprofiled medical centers: 3,040,513,750 AMD
- 2. Payments made to multidisciplinary medical centers (contractual prices): 529,118,100 AMD
- 3. Bonuses related to COVID-19: 826,126,809 AMD
- 4. Maintenance costs of temporary isolation facilities: 393,021,823 AMD
- 5. Supply of protective equipment: 876,067,744 AMD
- 6. Supply of medications and medical consumables: 1,840,022,459 AMD
- 7. Supply of medical devices: 2,871,480,038 AMD
- 8. Renovation of medical centers: 795,893,317 AMD
- 9. Payments made for the needs of other state bodies: 277,290,229 AMD
Total: 11,449,534,268 AMD.
