Hraparak. ‘I’ll Make You Minister...’. Arayik Harutyunyan Receives Scandalous Letters
The newspaper ‘Hraparak’ reports that the campaign and protests against the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Arayik Harutyunyan, are not just taking place in the streets or on Facebook. It turns out that hundreds of letters are being sent to Arayik Harutyunyan from citizens, often using street-level language. These letters are directed to the ministry’s address.
According to our sources, while there are rare expressions of gratitude found in the letters, the overwhelming majority consists of criticism, insults, and offensive remarks. Frequently, they contain phrases in the style of ‘I'll make you minister...’. The employees of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports read these letters every day and find themselves in uncomfortable situations, as they are required to provide substantive responses to such insults, since the law mandates a written response to letters.
