Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Representative Accuses Armenian Side of Provocations in Recent Period

The head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's press service, Leyla Abdullayeva, has commented on the interview of Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan with the Interfax news agency, stating that the Armenian foreign minister and the Armenian authorities "are obstructing the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict." This was reported by the APA news agency.

“The actions of the military-political leadership of Armenia nullify the essence of negotiations and are the main obstacle to creating 'conditions for peace,' as mentioned by the foreign minister of that country,” Abdullayeva stated.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry representative also accused the Armenian side of "committing provocations in the last one and a half months." Abdullayeva did not forget to mention Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent visit to Artsakh, describing it as an example of “Armenia's occupation policy.” She labeled the Armenian minister's opinion on preventing ethnic conflicts through political will as “nonsense,” noting that “Armenia has failed to demonstrate that political will for years.”
