Two People Die from Coronavirus in the Last Day: One 84 and One 85 Years Old

As of August 31 at 11:00 AM, a total of 43,781 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, with 37,722 recoveries and 879 deaths. Currently, there are 4,912 patients receiving active treatment for the virus. In total, 205,940 tests have been conducted.

Thus, we have 31 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 72 recoveries. Regarding the deaths, the patients were an 85-year-old man and an 84-year-old woman, both of whom had underlying chronic conditions.

On the previous day, 1 death was recorded where the patient had a confirmed case of coronavirus, but the death was due to a different illness. The total number of such cases is 268.
