Paper Copy of PCR Test Required for Entering Artsakh

According to the instruction of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, all individuals entering the territory of the Republic must present a paper copy of a negative PCR test result that is no older than 3 days at the checkpoint. This is in addition to the test result itself, to ensure the authenticity of the test (to confirm it has not been falsified in any way). This information was announced by the Information Headquarters of the Republic of Artsakh.

In cases of doubts regarding the validity of the test result, the matter will be reported in writing to the police of the Republic of Artsakh for appropriate checks and, if necessary, legal evaluations.

Following strict quarantine restrictions, since mid-August, the flow of tourists arriving from the Republic of Armenia seems to be stabilizing, which is encouraging. The reason for this is the change in the conditions for entering Artsakh. Specifically, individuals who do not hold citizenship of the Republic of Artsakh can enter the territory of the Republic if they present a PCR test result that is negative and no older than 72 hours from Armenia.

Several tour operators in Armenia have resumed tours to Artsakh and are offering affordable travel packages.
