Negotiations Underway for New Batch of Su-30SM Fighter Jets
Negotiations are underway for acquiring a new batch of Su-30SM fighter jets. This was announced in an interview with Azatutyun by Defense Minister David Tonoyan.
"A program for the modernization of 4 Su-25 fighter jets has also been signed, a project that has eluded us for years, but has now become a reality," the minister reported.
David Tonoyan noted that the modernization of the jets will take place in Russia. "I have also been inspired by the creation of Armenian-Russian private companies in the defense industry," the minister remarked.
