Do Not Call Me Outside of Working Hours and on Non-Working Days: Sofya Hovsepyan

MP Sofya Hovsepyan from the 'My Step' faction of the National Assembly made a post on her Facebook page stating, "Yes, I understood... Patience has its limits, and mine has been exhausted. The organized smear campaign against me is not news to me; I knew my path would be difficult and as convoluted as possible. However, the fact that this smear campaign recognizes no boundaries pushes me to become like everyone else: indifferent, ignoring people's issues and questions, separating new and old people and problems, creating factions and establishing myself within those factions—these are all points I must embody. Yes, yes, exactly like that. When you try to consider everyone's interests, you ultimately lose your most important possession—your health. Whatever derogatory remarks there may be, some allow themselves to insult you, to demand something from you, to express disdain and assert themselves. It is clear that this is guided by specific individuals, but mature people see all of this; it is visible beyond your smiling and transparently meaningless face.

From now on, a request, a demand, an appeal: I urge only the residents of Shirak province to contact me. (Each region should contact its elected representative, the regional governor, the mayor, and the village head.) Contact me only regarding specific questions related to my position and not domestic issues. Do not call me outside of working hours and on non-working days. Do not dare speak to me with an increased tone of voice, even by half a decibel. Manage your affairs and responsibilities properly so that I do not have to struggle with your issues for days. Starting September 15, the hotline that has turned into a circus will remain in the National Assembly, and I will only provide my new phone number to family members. If there is a call, it must be during working hours and on working days. And so it continues... It is strict, isn’t it? Yes, very strict... But patience truly has a limit... One day will come when I will have to turn my aforementioned requests into reality—a response to yesterday's directed attacks from the self-asserting mass and the meaningless call received from the villages at 6:30 today: I don’t even believe what I’m saying, but I will strictly adhere to certain points. Well, why has humanity diminished so much... Good light to all... #ForcedToWrite," the MP stated.
