Aparan Diocese Bishop Injured in Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province

On August 30, a car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn province. According to Shamshyan.com, around 4:00 PM, 47-year-old Hovhannes Vahanyan, a resident of Aparan city, lost control of his GAZ-3110 vehicle on the 69 km section of the Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir M-3 highway and veered off the road, suffering a self-accident and landing in a field.

As a result of the accident, driver H. Vahanyan was hospitalized with injuries at the 'Aparan' medical center, where he received first aid before being transferred to one of the hospitals in Yerevan.

According to reports, H. Vahanyan is the Bishop of the Aparan Diocese in Aragatsotn province.
