31 New Coronavirus Cases and 3 Deaths Confirmed in Armenia

As of August 31, a total of 31 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 43,781. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia, two citizens died from the virus in one day, increasing the death toll to 879.

During the same period, one additional death of a patient infected with coronavirus who had another illness was registered. As of August 31, the total number of these deaths is 268. Overall, three individuals died in one day, resulting in a total of 1,147 deaths.

In one day, 72 recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 37,722. The number of active cases currently stands at 4,912 (a decrease of 44 from the previous day).

On this day, 490 tests were conducted, and a total of 205,940 tests have been performed to date.
