Political Picnics Organized by Tsarukyan's Team

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: In preparation for a heated autumn within the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), weekly picnics are being organized under the leadership of Gagik Tsarukyan, with a different region visited each week. They are hosted by BHK MPs selected from each region. Although some MPs assured us that these are apolitical picnics and political issues are not discussed. “Especially since the NSS is monitoring us at every turn,” said one of them.

However, the purpose is political, and the idea’s author is Gagik Tsarukyan, who has decided to expand interactions and meet not only with the population but also with his party members to prevent the authorities from “snatching” away other individuals from the BHK, especially given the ongoing investigations and cases against them. Recently, a case has been initiated against former Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan.

This week, the BHK, led by Tsarukyan, will visit Shirak, where they will be hosted by Vardan Ghukasian and Vardevan Grigoryan. Next week they will be in Armavir, and last week they were in Gegharkunik.
