Lukashenko Threatens to Show Sanction-Imposing Countries Their Place
WRed
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has threatened to respond harshly to countries that impose sanctions against his nation. He has particularly instructed the government to propose redirecting all commercial routes away from Lithuania's ports.
“Now we will show them what sanctions mean. If the Poles and Lithuanians were routing their trade with China and Russia through us, they will now have to fly over the Black Sea to conduct trade with Russia and other countries,” he stated.
Lukashenko emphasized that those nations have likely forgotten what Belarus means, which is why he intends to show them their place.
