Former Deputy Minister in Desperate Situation: Minister Has 'Closed' All Doors
The newspaper "Hayots Ashkharh" reports: "On December 25, 2019, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Lusine Araakelyan, announced that she had submitted her resignation. 'The history of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia is finished for me at this point. I have submitted my resignation from the position of Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports voluntarily and through a mutually agreed decision,' Araakelyan announced.
According to "Hayots Ashkharh", after that announcement, all avenues for finding work in that sector have been closed to her, as Minister Arayik Harutyunyan has done everything to ensure that she is not employed anywhere. According to our information, Araakelyan's attempts to find any job in a state institution through various means have been in vain. She has faced serious financial difficulties since she has been unemployed for a long time.
Furthermore, according to our information, Araakelyan has decided to leave the ranks of the 'Civil Contract' party. We have learned that the former deputy minister informed her party about this and even shared the reasons behind her decision. We tried all day to confirm this information with Lusine Araakelyan, but she did not respond to our messages and calls."
