Deputy Minister of Environment Resigns; Former Minister Posts About Colleague

The former Minister of Environment, Erik Grigoryan, has announced on his Facebook page that Vardan Melikyan, the Deputy Minister of Environment, has been relieved of his duties in accordance with his own resignation request.
“I want to thank Vardan Melikyan for our collaboration and remind everyone that he left his position at one of the internationally reputable organizations to join the challenging mission of building a better Armenia. Vardan, I appreciate your responsible, dedicated, heartfelt, and professional work, as well as the coordination of innovative and revolutionary ideas and the reforms that have been implemented,” he wrote.
