Classes for First-Year Students to Begin on September 1; Student Capacity in One Building Limited to 150 at YSU

Classes for first-year students will commence on September 1. The number of students present in one building at any given time must not exceed 150. This information has been reported on the official website of Yerevan State University (YSU).
The announcement states, among other points:
- The academic process for first-year undergraduate students will start between September 1-3, in accordance with the previously agreed schedule with the educational-methodological department.
- The academic process for other year students will commence from September 15.
- The educational process will be organized in a combination of in-person and remote formats.
- In-person classes will be organized according to the timetable, starting at 10:00 AM with a duration of 60 minutes.
- Remote classes will be conducted exclusively on the e-learning.ysu.am platform, scheduled from Monday to Friday, starting at 9:00 AM with a duration of 80 minutes, including a 5-minute break.
- In-person class hours for each student may be organized for a maximum of 2 days per week, with a maximum of 3 hours per day, and the number of students in one classroom must not exceed 30. The days for in-person and remote classes should not coincide.
- The number of students present in one educational building at any given time must not exceed 150.
