Authorities Confused Over Constitutional Court Issue
The newspaper 'Pats' reports that the authorities are quite confused and do not understand how to ultimately solve the issue of the Constitutional Court, particularly regarding the election of its members.
According to our sources, the executive branch is mainly inclined to organize discussions on the issue in an extraordinary manner, so that they can elect members to the Constitutional Court before the start of the next parliamentary session. However, this approach has not been unanimously supported within the legislative body.
A significant number of members in the ruling faction wish to discuss the topic in regular sessions, in a detailed and substantive manner, rather than in an extraordinary mode during the holiday period, on the fly.
It is difficult to predict which option will prevail, but our information indicates that the leaders of the factions have been warned that, in any case, the deputies should not stray too far away so they can quickly gather if necessary.
