Invitation for Cooperation from Plekhanov University to the Minister of Environment

The director of the Yerevan branch of Plekhanov University of Economics, Tamara Vardanyan, announced on Facebook that the Plekhanov Institute has extended an invitation for cooperation to the Minister of Environment.

“We are pleased to inform you that the UN will allocate $10 million to the RA Ministry of Environment for the implementation of projects aimed at the restoration of forests in Armenia. We would like to inform you that the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory of G. V. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and the company 'High Intelligence' have jointly already developed mathematical and software solutions aimed at launching a fully automated system for the rapid detection and extinguishment of forest fires. This will completely solve the problem of forest fire prevention and extinguishment, minimizing costs and eliminating all possible threats to human health and life. The project is named ‘AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR RAPID DETECTION AND EXTINGUISHMENT OF FOREST FIRES’. The Yerevan branch of Plekhanov University and ‘High Intelligence’ LLC, supporting the RA Ministry of Environment in addressing this urgent issue, declare their readiness to meet with the minister (including in an online format) in order to conduct discussions aimed at cooperation.”
