Hayk Marutyan is the biggest blind spot of this government, he shoots at the government's feet every day. Marukyan
The mayor of Yerevan, who is a local leader by office, had been 2hidden2 during the state of emergency and throughout the pandemic. This was stated by Edmon Marukyan, head of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction in the National Assembly, on his Facebook page along with a video of his conversation with Davit Khajakyan.
"All bonuses in state systems are halted, yet the mayor of Yerevan is awarding bonuses of 47 million drams to his department heads. You are the leader of the city of Yerevan; come out from the first day, walk in the metro, see what is happening in the streets, whether they are sanitizing or what they are doing. Dear people, it is normal for a person to be afraid of getting infected, but there is an important point: such a person cannot play the role of a public leader. He should not hold a public position. He can work in the private sector, you can be afraid for yourself. Hayk Marutyan has simply not justified the hopes of the people, and he is the biggest blind spot of this government, the most painful blind spot, and Nikol Pashinyan is facing a great problem. Because in the event of his resignation, they also do not have another person they can elect from that list. This is a deep problem for the government, and it will itself bring down the current authority, because Yerevan city, as the largest oppositional center, generates the greatest discontent, and Hayk Marutyan is its forefront leader. He shoots at the government's feet every day," he noted.
