Major Car Accident in Ararat Province: 31-Year-Old Driver Crashes Opel into Inactive Water Pipeline
Today, August 20, a major car accident occurred in Ararat Province, as reported by SHAMSHYAN.com.
At around 12:50 PM, a 31-year-old driver, Vardan G., lost control of his Opel Vectra on the 1st kilometer section of the Hayanist-Khachpar highway, veering off the traffic lane and crashing into an inactive water pipeline that runs through the village of Khachpar.
Passersby helped the driver and three passengers out of the vehicle and transported them to the site, where emergency doctors from the Masis hospital, who arrived promptly, provided assistance. However, the individuals refused to go to the hospital, stating that they had not sustained any injuries.
Rescuers disabled the vehicle, shut off the gas cylinder valve, and used special equipment to extract the car from the pipeline and move it to a towing truck.
