145 New Cases of Coronavirus Confirmed in Armenia, 327 Patients Recovered

As of August 18, 145 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 41,846.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Republic of Armenia, 8 citizens have died from the virus in the past day, raising the death toll to 832. There was also one recorded case of a patient dying from another illness who was infected with coronavirus. As of August 18, the total number of these cases stands at 245.

In total, 9 people have died in one day, and the overall death count has reached 1,077. Additionally, the number of recoveries in one day is 327, leading to a total of 34,982 recoveries, while the number of actively treated patients is 5,787 (a decrease of 191 in one day).

During the day, 1,067 tests were conducted, with a cumulative total of 186,661 tests performed to date.
