Grenades, Rubber Baton, and 250 Rounds of Ammunition Discovered in a House in Vardenis
On August 17, officers from the Criminal Police Department and the Gegharkunik Regional Department, in cooperation with investigators from the Vardenis division, conducted a search in a house in the city of Vardenis and its auxiliary structures, as part of a initiated criminal case, with a court order.
The law enforcement officials discovered an anti-tank hand grenade, two grenade detonators, a rubber baton, and approximately 250 rounds of ammunition of various calibers. The homeowner reported that the weapons and ammunition were brought from Karvachar during the Artsakh Liberation War.
The seized items have been confiscated for forensic examination. The investigation is ongoing.
