Woman Who Died of Coronavirus Was 70 Years Old and Had Underlying Chronic Illnesses

As of 11:00 AM on August 19, a total of 42,056 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 35,226 have recovered and 833 have resulted in death. Currently, there are 5,748 patients receiving treatment for the virus. A total of 188,567 tests have been conducted. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

Thus, there are 210 new confirmed cases of the virus and 244 recoveries. The deceased patient was a 70-year-old woman who had underlying chronic illnesses.

On the previous day, there were 4 recorded deaths in patients who tested positive for the coronavirus, although their deaths were attributed to other underlying conditions. The total number of such cases is 249.
