35-Year-Old Driver Hits Pedestrian in Yerevan with Nissan
On August 18, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Yerevan. At approximately 7:45 PM, 35-year-old Garik D., a resident of Yerevan, struck a pedestrian with his Nissan Altima in front of building 9/6 on Babajanyan Street in the Avan administrative district.
According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene. He called for an ambulance from the Yerevan 1-03 emergency service and assisted in transporting the injured pedestrian to the number 1 university hospital. Afterwards, he alerted the Ministry of Emergency Situations' 9-11 operational management center, followed by the operational management center of the Yerevan traffic police.
Materials are being prepared regarding the incident. The driver underwent a sobriety test, and it was confirmed that he was sober.
