29-Year-Old Citizen Attempts to Jump from Victory Bridge

On August 18, at 11:33 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a citizen intended to commit suicide by jumping from Victory Bridge. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

A rescue team from the Fire and Rescue Department of Yerevan, along with a psychologist from the Psychological Support Division, was dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the joint efforts of the rescuers and local forces, the suicide attempt by the citizen (male, born in 1991) was prevented.
