8 Deaths Recorded Due to Coronavirus; Patients Had Underlying Health Conditions

The Ministry of Health of Armenia reports that the patients who passed away were aged 65 (male), 82 (female), 70 (male), 91 (male), 71 (male), 69 (female), 84 (female), and 79 (female). All had underlying chronic health conditions.

On the previous day, there was one recorded death where the patient tested positive for the coronavirus, but the cause of death was due to another illness. The total number of such cases is 245.

As of August 18 at 11:00 AM, a total of 41,846 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 34,982 have recovered, and 832 have resulted in death. Currently, 5,787 patients are undergoing treatment for the coronavirus. In total, 186,661 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there are 145 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 327 recoveries.
