Ashot Zakaryan Appointed as Head of Military Police

On August 17, Deputy Minister of Defense Gabriel Balayan introduced the newly appointed head of the Military Police of the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Ashot Zakaryan, to the employees of the Military Police. Zakaryan previously served as the head of the Vanadzor Police Department. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense's press service.

Gabriel Balayan expressed confidence that appointing Colonel Zakaryan to this responsible position would enhance the effectiveness of the Military Police's collaborative efforts with military units, as well as help prevent negative phenomena within the armed forces.
