Three Suspects Arrested in Minsk for Explosion
Three individuals, including two men and a woman, have been arrested in Minsk on suspicion of involvement in the explosion of a homemade explosive device near the 'Belarus' department store. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
According to the statement, one of the suspects, born in 1968, actively resisted police, striking the officer multiple times on the head, throwing him to the ground, and attempting to gouge his eyes.
It is noteworthy that mass protests in Belarus began following the presidential elections, where the incumbent president, Alexander Lukashenko, claimed a victory with over 80% of the votes—an outcome that many citizens do not believe.
