Lukashenko Declares He is Kneeling Before the Gathered Crowd
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has announced that he is kneeling before the crowd gathered in Minsk’s Independence Square and expressed gratitude to the people of the country. This was reported by Sputnik Belarus.
“I thank you greatly for showing that you are the masters of this country... I am kneeling before you for the first time in my life,” said Lukashenko.
Earlier, it was reported that a rally in support of the current government is being held in Minsk. It is worth noting that since August 9, the results of the presidential elections have sparked protests, accompanied by clashes with law enforcement.
