The Geography of Water Issues Expands in the Artificial State Called Azerbaijan, Says Turkologist

Turkologist Karen Hovhannisyan wrote on his Facebook page: "The geography of water issues is expanding in the artificial state called Azerbaijan. The Khachmaz region located in northern Azerbaijan, through which the Kudyalchay River flows, faces very serious problems regarding irrigation and drinking water. Artesian wells have already dried up, and the ground has become so muddy that it is impossible to pump water to communities even with pumps.

Here too, complaints about water are voiced with anti-government slogans. Residents are particularly displeased when the propaganda machine of Baku's dictator constantly talks about and showcases the opening ceremonies of this or that artesian well by Aliyev. "Even if those taps (referring to the artesian wells or pump valves opened by Aliyev) are made of gold, they provide us with nothing, as no water flows from there. Pay attention in the photo, how in 'modern and powerful' Azerbaijan they have still managed to push artesian water out of reach.”
