Shengavit Police Uncover Car Theft Incidents

The Police of Armenia reports that on August 12, a citizen called the police to inform them that between 7:00 PM on August 11 and 10:00 AM on August 12, the nickel caps of their parked "Mercedes" vehicle had been stolen from the courtyard of a building.

Thanks to the measures taken by the Shengavit Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division, it was identified on August 12 that the theft was committed by a 44-year-old man. Through explanatory work, he came to the department, provided a confession, and returned the stolen property.

During the preparation of materials, other thefts previously committed by the individual were revealed. In particular, he had stolen the battery of a "ZIL" vehicle parked near one of the buildings on Arshakunyats Avenue, as well as the battery of a "VAZ-2106" car parked in the yard of a building on Frunze Street.

Measures are being taken to receive reports from the victims and recover the stolen items. Materials are being prepared.
