Clashes Occur in Minsk Between Protesters and Police Forces, Injuries Reported

After the polling stations closed, clashes erupted in central Minsk between gathered protesters and special forces officers. According to the TACC agency, initially around 300 young people gathered in the center of Belarus's capital, with some being detained by the police. International media reports indicate that the number of protesters is increasing by the minute. Simultaneously, protests have also started in other cities of Belarus, notably in Brest.
