Three Tons of Hay-Loaded Trailer Overturned

On August 11, an emergency incident occurred in the Ararat region. At approximately 23:10, a trailer attached to a ZIL truck, loaded with about three tons of hay, overturned on the 40 km stretch of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway under still unknown circumstances.

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, preliminary reports indicate that there were no injuries; however, the spilled hay blocked the road, rendering traffic impassable. Officers from the Road Police's 2nd Officer Battalion, 1st Company quickly arrived at the scene.

Rescue efforts by citizens cleared the area of the spilled hay in a short amount of time, while the road police conducted enhanced service at the site during this process. The overturned trailer was then restored and moved to a safe location.
