Fire Erupts at Gas Station in Abovyan

On August 12, at 13:16, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a fire had broken out at a gas station near the bridge in the city of Abovyan.

Two fire-fighting units from the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. Subsequently, two more units from the Yerevan Rescue Department were sent, but they returned as their assistance was no longer required.

The fire was contained by 13:34 and extinguished by 13:49. Damages included the wooden structures of the warehouse roof (approximately 25 square meters) at the 'MAX OIL' gas station located at the crossroads of Nor Hachn city and a rubber hose (approximately 3 meters) stored inside.
