Patients Hospitalized Due to Food Poisoning Discharged from Hospital, Says Director of Vedi Medical Center
Two days ago, during a traditional food preparation ceremony in the Ararat region, a group of citizens was diagnosed with "food poisoning under investigation" and was transferred to the Vedi and Ararat medical centers.
The director of Vedi Medical Center, Aramais Grigoryan, stated in a conversation with ArmDaily.am that he could not specify which food caused the poisoning. "Some say they ate meat, others say sausage; I cannot say which specific food caused the poisoning, and that is not our function," he said.
Grigoryan mentioned that the patients' condition was satisfactory. "They received outpatient treatment in the hospital and were discharged after a few hours. There were no severe cases," he added.
When asked if any other issues were identified in the examination results, the medical center director replied that no, it was only food poisoning.
It should be noted that Ararat police have determined that the individuals were poisoned at around 14:00 on the same day at the home of S. Hayrapetyan, during the food preparation ceremony. Materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Ararat police regarding the incident.
