It is time for the Infectious Diseases Hospital to unite and make its decisive voice heard. This was stated by oncologist and former advisor to the Minister of Health of Armenia, Gevorg Tamamyan, on his Facebook page.

“Dear doctors, nurses, and all staff of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, who have been fighting at the front line for the past six months, day and night, forgetting your homes... You have become the symbols of the fight against the pandemic! Now I read your posts, and without exception, all express regret, pain, and anger regarding the departure of Mher Davidyan.

I am convinced that it is clear to everyone, and it is clear from the very basics, who is behind this. It is abundantly clear that the health care 'responsible' person, who is afraid of his own glare, should have started getting rid of those who are informed about his 'heroics' during the pandemic and who pose a threat to him.

Now the question is different: will the medical community continue to tolerate all of this? Will the medical community be unable to unite again? Until when? It is time for the Infectious Diseases Hospital to unite and make its decisive voice heard!” he wrote.
