The Orient Queen ship, belonging to the Lebanese Abou Merhi Group, has sunk due to an explosion that occurred in the Beirut port. During the incident, two individuals on board lost their lives, and seven crew members were injured.

According to the ship's owner, the vessel had been docked at the Beirut port when the explosion caused significant damage, leading to water intake in the ship's hold.
