Dilijan Medical Center Overcomes Covid-19, Returns to Previous Operational Mode

The Dilijan Medical Center, which had been reprofiled to treat patients infected with coronavirus, is returning to its previous operational mode.

“We are pleased to announce that due to the decrease in coronavirus cases in the Republic of Armenia, the Dilijan Medical Center is going back to its normal working regime. We proudly mention that we have also contributed our small share to the intense and selfless fight against this pandemic that is being waged throughout the republic, and we have honorably fulfilled the tasks set before us.”

It is worth noting that from June 12 to July 31 of this year, nearly 200 patients positive for Covid-19 received treatment at the Dilijan Medical Center. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those involved in this heroic work—doctors, nurses, paramedics, chief nurses, diagnostic department staff, food supply workers, and organizers.

The Covid-19 department that was opened at the Dilijan Medical Center will no longer be operational as of August 1. The building has been completely disinfected and is operating in its normal manner, ready to accept patients again.

This week, visits by specialists from Erebuni and Nairi medical centers will resume. We wish everyone good health,” says the medical center.
