Demonstration Drills Conducted Under the Leadership of Jalal Harutyunyan

On August 3, under the leadership of Deputy Defense Minister Major General Jalal Harutyunyan, demonstration tactical drills were held at one of the military bases in the southern direction of the Defense Army. The drills involved commanders and their deputies from various units and military formations. This information was reported by the Artsakh Defense Army.

Prior to the commencement of the drills, the head of the republic’s defense department presented the participating personnel with a brief outline of the events, emphasizing the importance of properly conducting these activities to elevate the level of military preparedness in the new academic year, in light of the regional and geopolitical developments facing our country.

Subsequently, various training exercises related to the combat application of weapons and military technology were conducted at designated training points, focusing on the commanders’ task refinement in troop deployment areas and overall increase in combat readiness levels. Special attention was given to the organization and methodology of these activities.

The drills at the training points were led by the army commander’s deputies and heads of relevant departments and services. Recognizing the crucial role of leadership in effective management of units and subdivisions, the organization of internal service and combat duty, as well as the implementation of assigned tasks, both theoretical and practical training exercises aimed at enhancing the professional skills of commanders were conducted.

During his tour of the training points and monitoring the progress of the drills, Major General Jalal Harutyunyan provided necessary instructions and clarifications aimed at making the exercises more effective and targeted, with particular emphasis on measures to counter potential actions by adversaries.

At the conclusion of the demonstration drills, the completed works were summarized, upcoming events planned for the new training year were discussed to ensure they are conducted at an appropriate level, and the head of the defense department provided the attending command staff with necessary instructions and directives regarding the daily service of the troops.
