Armenian MPs to Observe Belarus Presidential Elections

Two members of the National Assembly of Armenia have been dispatched to Minsk to carry out an observation mission for the Belarus presidential elections. This information has been reported by the press service of the Armenian National Assembly.

"Within the framework of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly's international observation mission, National Assembly deputies Alexey Sandikov and Armen Yegiazaryan will be sent to Minsk (Republic of Belarus) from August 7-10, 2020," the announcement states.

It is noteworthy that the Belarus presidential elections are scheduled for August 9. Five candidates, including the incumbent president Alexander Lukashenko, are running for this position.
