Lydian Armenia to File Lawsuits
Lydian Armenia informs that it will file lawsuits against citizens Levon Galstyan and Anna Shahbazyan, requesting the refutation of the slander directed at Lydian Armenia made by them on July 27 and July 30.
This is mentioned in a statement released by Lydian Armenia. Preventing the claims that Lydian is trying to silence these 'honest' 'environmentalists,' it should be noted that for years Lydian has exhibited exceptional tolerance, never turning to legal means and trying to counter falsehoods with facts. However, recent developments and statements made by high-ranking officials give grounds to believe or assume that many of these individuals are not interested in facts and are spreading falsehoods against Lydian for the benefit of certain people and organizations.
Consequently, Lydian will respond to any defamatory statements with legal actions. Thus, the aforementioned individuals have accused Lydian of attempting to bribe political forces and being involved in corruption in various formulations. For this defamation, we will legally demand a refutation and compensation for the tarnishing of our business reputation.
Lydian has always operated within the law and has never been implicated in any corrupt transactions. The clear evidence of this is the various pressures faced by Lydian over the years, including deliberately spread falsehoods. Meanwhile, the opposing party has failed to present any evidence to substantiate their accusations against Lydian across various platforms, including court.
In contrast, activists fighting against Amulsar have filed a lawsuit against the Deputy Prime Minister, as he stated that there are individuals directly linked to businesspeople in the mining industry within the territory of Armenia, who invest considerable resources to organize the campaign against Amulsar. The activists, who raised a considerable uproar regarding this lawsuit, are 'modestly' silent about the court's decision.
It is important to note that the court rejected the activists' request, concluding that the Deputy Prime Minister's statement does not contain slander. We leave the conclusions to the public.
