VAZ 2105 Collides with Concrete Support on Ijevan-Dilijan Road; Driver Dies on Scene
On July 30 at 3:00 PM, the National Center for Crisis Management received a report that an accident had occurred on the Ijevan-Dilijan highway at kilometer 5, resulting in casualties.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Tavush regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a VAZ 2105 car (driver Andranik M., born in 1960) veered off the road and collided with a concrete support; the driver died at the scene.
Before the rescuers arrived, passengers Angela M. (born in 1987), Lilia (born in 2013), and Lamara (born in 2011) were transported to Ijevan Medical Center, where doctors assessed Angela M.'s health condition as moderate, while the children were unharmed.
