The Condition of Soldiers Injured on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Border is Good: Ministry of Defense

The condition of soldiers injured on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is reported to be good, according to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“Nine soldiers continue to receive rehabilitation treatment; all of them are in good condition, and there are no concerning issues,” the Ministry stated.

The ministry also confirmed that the condition of the soldier injured yesterday is satisfactory, with no alarming problems reported. This information was shared during a conversation with Aysor.am.

Azerbaijani armed forces attempted to breach the state border of Armenia in the Tavush direction on July 12 at around 12:30, using a UAZ-brand vehicle. Following a warning from the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani servicemen abandoned the vehicle and returned to their positions.

At 13:45, Azerbaijani soldiers made another attempt to seize the Armenian army's border position, employing artillery fire. However, they were suppressed by the Armenian side and were repelled with losses.

Later on, the Azerbaijani side resumed shelling, targeting civilian infrastructure.
