Shirak Resident Approaches Criminal Authority to Recover Sold Vehicle

The Investigative Committee of Armenia has initiated a criminal case regarding involvement with a criminal subculture group and contacting a participant of that group. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

On July 17, 2020, a resident of Yerevan reported that his company had participated in an auction organized by a bankruptcy manager from Shirak region, during which it emerged victorious and purchased a ‘Vaz-21703’ vehicle belonging to the resident for 213,303 AMD. Subsequently, the bankruptcy manager committed to deliver the vehicle within a few hours, but later informed that he could not locate the vehicle’s owner.

According to preparatory materials regarding the report, factual data was obtained showing that the debtor, after learning from the bankruptcy manager about the sale of the vehicle, contacted the buyer by phone and proposed to purchase it back for a higher price while attempting to arrange a meeting.
