Neighbors' Dispute Ends in Gunfire: One Detained
On July 27, a report was received at the Artashat police department regarding gunfire in the village of Arevshat. An operational group that quickly responded to the call conducted reconnaissance measures on the scene and determined that the neighbors had quarreled.
Preliminary data suggests that one neighbor's cow had entered another's property and damaged the crops, which led to the dispute. During the clarification process, one of the participants took an illegal firearm from his home and fired shots.
The 46-year-old man was located and taken into custody by the Artashat police department. The firearm, which belonged to his deceased grandfather and bore a factory number, was also found and has been sent for examination. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
