Gazel Vehicle Collides with Electric Pole, Driver Dies

On July 30, a tragic incident occurred in the Tavush region. At approximately 19:10, a passenger Gazel vehicle veered off the road on the 110th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway, in the administrative area of the village of Haghartsin, and collided with an electric pole.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver died as a result of the collision. Preliminary reports suggest that the driver may have suffered a sudden health crisis while behind the wheel. There were also several passengers in the vehicle, as the driver was transporting them home from a sewing workshop in Ijevan.

The police and investigative department are working to establish the driver's identity and to determine whether there are other victims as a result of the accident.
