Doctors-Soldiers Set to Begin Their Service

On July 30, a lottery for the placement of graduates from Yerevan State Medical University named after Mikhael Heratsi took place at the Administrative Complex of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. As part of the conscription process, the medical university graduates will enhance the units of the Armed Forces, and a group of graduates will also receive the rank of lieutenant.

Prior to the lottery, the candidates completed a 20-day military internship in various units of the Armed Forces.

Sahak Ohanyan, Head of the Military Medical Department of the Armenian Armed Forces, wished all attendees a successful service and expressed hope that the doctors would carry out their mission at a high level and acquire new knowledge and skills during their service.
